Green Motion Czech Republic Rental Terms for travel between 01-Jan-2019 and 31-Dec-2024

Pricing is quoted on a ‘per day’ basis (24 hour period) 

Driver Age Requirements 
- Minimum/Maximum age: 21 to 70 years 
- Young driver surcharge applies to ages: N/A 
- Senior drivers surcharge applies to ages: N/A 

Driver License Requirements 
The renter and the driver have to be in possession of a valid driving licence 
Driving licenses must be held for a minimum of 2 years. 
UK license holders need to present a photo card. 
There are limitations on accepting driving licences. 
Driving licences should be in English, Latin or Cyrillic letters. International Driving licences are required when a driving license is not in English, Latin or Cyrillic letters.  Any driver must produce a valid, original copy of their driving license including photo ID. 

Additional Drivers 
Additional drivers are allowed, at a cost of 6.00 Euro/day VAT included. (max. EUR 60.00 per lease) 
Insurance Coverage 
- Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): 
VAT included Does not include damage to tyres, wheel rims, hubcaps, the interior of the vehicle, wing mirrors, rear view mirror, car glass, locks, undercarriage, clutch, engine, sump, catalytic converter and radiator. Also not included are battery recharge, loss of keys, tow truck, taxi transfer after an accident, and deposit for the vehicle replacement and compensation for lost rental days while the vehicle is being repaired. 

- PAI, Theft and Fire Damage: 
VAT included PAI is not included in the rate. Fire and Theft Insurance is included in the rate. In the case of Fire or Theft client would be liable for the excess amount. 
Our standard excesses are shown below along with the pre-authorisation required by credit card that must be in the driver’s name. Locations reserve the right to request a higher pre-authorisation based on premium vehicles, licence endorsement history etc. VAT included

Third Party Liability Insurance (SLI)  
For Material Damages and Bodily Injuries Coverage for a person is € 2.600.000, for material damages € 2.600.000. 

Reduced Damage Waiver: (RDW)
Reduced excess partly covers the waivable amount in case of damage or theft - RDW does not cover any damage to the interior or underside of the rental vehicle, tyre and wheel damage, broken or lost keys or contamination of fuel, neither in event of deliberate intent.  VAT included  - Daily rates are available at the counter 
Full Damage Waiver: (FDW)

0 excess fully covers the waivable amount in case of damage or theft - FDW does not cover any damage to the interior or underside of the rental vehicle, tyre and wheel damage, broken or lost keys or contamination of fuel, neither in event of deliberate intent.  VAT included  - Daily rates are available at the counter 
Special Equipment / Optional Extras 
The Lessee may order the lease of additional equipment in terms of the Agreement.  The current price list is available at the Lessor. The penalty amounting EUR 100 per item will be charged for the loss or alienation of the additional equipment, mainly child safety seat, GPS navigation, snow chains.   
- Baby seat: EUR 8.50 per day. Maximum EUR 85.00 per rental - VAT included - On request. 
- Child booster seat: EUR 8.50 per day. Maximum EUR 85.00 per rental - VAT included - On request. 
- GPS Sat Navigation: EUR 8.50 per day. Maximum EUR 85.00 per rental - VAT included - On request. 
- Snow chain: EUR 8.50 per day. Maximum EUR 85.00 per rental - VAT included - On request. 

Breakdown Assistance 
- Included in the price, includes 21% VAT. Refer to office working hours. 

Fees Airport fee 
- Included in price One-way fee: Eur 40 incl. VAT 

Fuel Policy 
We operate a full to full Fuel policy; we ask that customers return with the full tank as was supplied at the time of collection. Missing fuel will be charged per litre (daily rate) and an additional charge of € 25,00 incl. VAT (Refuelling Fee).  Your vehicle will be supplied with fuel. To avoid incurring fuel charges you will need to return it approximately same level. You may be required to leave a fuel deposit reserved on your credit card that will be released when you return the car with same amount of fuel. Missing fuel will be charged on your return. The price per litre charged by the rental agent may be significantly higher than the price at the local service station. Price per litre available at the counter. 
Mileage Policy 
Unlimited within the Czech Republic. Contact location in advance, cross border charges may apply. 
Country / State Cross Border Travel 
Cross border travel is allowed, but is strictly on a request service and available for the countries listed below.
A onetime fee of €35 VAT included applies to rentals 1 – 10 days long, rentals over 10 days long a fee of €60 applies, VAT included.
Allowed to EU countries excluding: Bulgaria, Romania, Great Britain, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

VAT Tax Rate
21% included in the rental price.

Credit Card Accepted Payment Methods 
Only credit card payments are accepted. 
Accepted for deposit and payment: American Express, Eurocard/MasterCard and Visa 
Not accepted for deposit and payment:  Pre-paid credit cards, Laser, Maestro, debit, or Switch cards A deposit amount of excess will be held against your card(s) for the period of the booking. Credit card(s) must be in the name of the main driver. Make sure you have a large enough limit to cover the excess. 
In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card or lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card, car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed. 
Form(s) of ID A valid photo ID (passport or national ID). 
Vehicle Group/Model 
Our vehicles are classified into groups using the ACRISS codes. Reservations are confirmed for a group. We do not guarantee a particular make/model or fuel type of vehicle.  The vehicle shown on any documentation is for guidance only and may be substituted with an alternative, similar or upgraded vehicle at our discretion 

Vehicle Condition 
Vehicles must be returned to the location/drop off point in the same condition as when it was picked up/delivered. It is the responsibility of the renter to ensure that the vehicle is thoroughly checked prior to taking custody of the vehicle.  Whilst in charge of the vehicle the client accepts responsibility for maintaining the roadworthiness of the vehicle and agrees to take remedial action to avoid unnecessary cost/damage. This will include maintaining oil levels, tire pressures and other common sense actions to maintain the vehicle if before authorized. Costs will generally be covered only if it’s authorized in advance from the rental branch. Renter returns the vehicle in a clean condition (normal wear and tear excepted). If the vehicle is exceptionally dirty upon return or if there is damage to the seats, seat upholstery or the carpets an additional charge for deep cleaning will apply. This charge will be dependent upon the actual state of the vehicle when returned.  Any damage caused to the vehicle, if returned out of hours is the responsibility of the hirer until our staffs have checked in the vehicle. 

A printed version of your voucher must be produced upon arrival at the rental desk. Failure to present the voucher means the car rental agent may charge you at the local rates. Please note: We are not responsible for overcharges on rentals where the voucher was not presented to the local agent on the collection of the vehicle. If you do not present the required documents, the documentation is not valid or you do not have enough funds on your credit card, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle and no funds will be reimbursed. 
Deep cleaning of the car 
Green Motion operates a no smoking policy for all vehicles. If you have smoked or allowed smoking within the vehicle charges will apply  A valeting fee will be surcharged to rectify any soiling due to a cigarette (or cigar) smoke/ash in the minimum amount of €150 incl. VAT  


Animals in our vehicles 
We request no animals are transported in our vehicle unless contained. A valeting fee may be applied to rectify any soiling due to animal transportation. The minimum fee will be at least €150 incl. VAT. 
Opening Hours 
Please check for our applicable opening hours at your time of rental/arrival/ departure (pick-up, return etc.) Please always check before, the location may be closed for pickups and returns on Countries or local public holidays. 
Out of Hours Collection and Drop Off 
If an out of hours service is available then the rental station will attract a €40 charge incl. VAT payable on collection. Out of hours requests are treated as on request and cannot be guaranteed. After midnight may attract a higher fee or may not be available. Not all locations offer out of hours returns and a 24-hour service should not be assumed where out of hours service is offered.  
Delayed Collections 
In the event that a customer experiences flight delays, the customer will not be charged an out of hours surcharge within 1 hour of the intended arrival time – if a flight number is provided. If no flight number is provided then the location may close without notice. No refunds will be given for rentals ended early, late collections, no-shows or cancellations made after the rental start date, even if cancellation protection is taken. 
Rental Extensions 
Please note that it may not always be possible to extend the hire. When the rental branch agrees to extend the hire, the rental will be charged at the prevailing rate which may be higher or lower than the original booking rate. 
Non-authorized rental extension 
500 EUR per rental incl. VAT. Penalty above the rental charge and the driver will be blacklisted (decline for future bookings) 
Early Returns/Unused Rental Days 
No refunds (partial or full) will be given for charges ended early. 
Fines, Penalties and Administration Charges 
It is the responsibility of each hirer to cover the cost of any parking fines and traffic violations. When fines or traffic violations occur and a Green Motion location is involved in administering the charge then an administration fee €15 incl. VAT will be charged to the customer. 
Late drop off 
For drop off 60 or more minutes later, we charge a whole new rental day. Apply for all car groups. Grace period: 1 hour 
Prepaid Rentals 
Prepaid rentals are allowed. 
Reservation amendments must be requested in writing, fax or email at least 24 hours prior to the start of your rental. Please note that telephone amendments will not be accepted. An amendment request is not assured and amendments will be treated as a new booking. 

Vehicle Trackers 
Some of our vehicles contain tracking devices which will be used in accordance with our data protection policy. 
No show fee 
One rental day per all car groups will be charged if reservation not cancelled 24 hours ahead. However, the charge will not be made if the client shows up in 6 hours frame after the pick-up time. 
Stop Sell 
We reserve the right to cancel a rental and refuse service anywhere prior to 24 hours before booking. NO GRACE PERIOD AT ANY TIME. 
General Terms 
All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions. Green Motion Rent CZ, s.r.o. and RX Auto, s.r.o (“Green Motion Rent CZ “) will not be held responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs causing wilful damage, off road driving or driving without due care and attention. 

The customer will accept responsibility in respect of such claims. This list is not exclusive. Calls to Green Motion Rent CZ may be recorded. 

Terms and Conditions Issued in January 2018 and may be subject to change at any time. 

All prices quoted herein are inclusive of VAT. 

Renter agrees that Green Motion Rent CZ may use any information given us to carry out our own market research and renter authorises Green Motion Rent CZ to contact him in the future by the way of direct marketing. 

Renter agrees that Green Motion Rent CZ can give this information to credit reference agencies, insurance companies and law enforcement officials and any other relevant organisation when necessary.  Green Motion makes all efforts to ensure that all information provided is correct at the time of booking. Furthermore, the customer by signing the rental agreement agrees to adhere to our conditions at the time of collection of the vehicle and for the duration of the rental.

The rates on this website are often heavily discounted. This is due to our negotiated rates and bulk buying power. On very rare occasions, a rate may be displayed incorrectly due to our, or a vehicle supplier's error. In such a case, if you book with us at a quoted rate that is incorrect, we will notify you of any price change and give you the option to proceed or cancel. We make every effort to keep information on our site up to date, but we cannot guarantee this website is free of errors or omissions and retain the right to update or change the information published at any time.

To the extent permitted by law we/the owners of this website will not be liable to you or to any third party (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to any accident, injury, delay or loss of enjoyment) arising out of your reliance upon information contained on this website, including but not limited to your use (or inability to use) any products or services described or procured through this website.

When you pick up your vehicle, you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the supplier of the vehicle. Your rental and use of the vehicle will be governed by the terms of the rental agreement and any other documentation or information provided to you by the supplier at the time you pick up your vehicle. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier's rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.

While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice.

If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

Information disclosure
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.

Vehicle capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.

Refund Policy
In the event of cancellation, any deposit amounts paid at the time of booking are non-refundable. 

If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
